If it's a question from Physics, then G means 'Gravitational constant' and g means 'acceleration due to gravity'.

Hope it helps. Thank you. ☺♥

What is difference between 'g' and 'GG stands for Newton's universal gravitational constant, whereas g stands for the acceleration due to gravity at a certain point. G = 6.67300 × 10 -11 N.m 2.kg -2G is a constant throughout space and time and it is a scalar quantity.
