Hey mate here is your answer》》

Heat Capacity = The amount of energy required to raise the temperature of the substance by 1 degree Celsius.

Specific Heat Capacity = The amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1kg of the substance by 1 degree Celsius.

There is a subtle difference between the 2 statements!!

So for me, it is the mass of the body if you just talking heat capacity!!

Hope this answer will help you..《《

Hey friend here is your answer

Question - What is the heat capacity of a body depends?

Answer - To change the temperature of a body means to change the average kinetic energy of its particles. The particles of different substances have different masses. The number of particles in 1kg of a substance obviously depends on the mass of those particles.

Hope it helps marked me as brainliest
