Human body is made out of 70% water and without water our body cannot survive for much time.

Because, our body cells cannot tolerate dehydration for long time,due to following reasons;

1) The cellular transportation of different organic materials are dependent on the osmosis process which is not possible without any fluid medium.

2) The cellular organelles slightly move from one place to another as per the necessity. And this movement is possible due to the internal fluid of the cells.

3) The cellular pressure is very important for the biological equilibrium in our body. And this cellular pressure is possible due to the internal and external cellular fluid.

For these reasons water is very important for the living cells.
