we take the long division method to find least no.to be added to make it perfect square .The number obtained is 46 that is 46^2=2116 which is smaller than 2200 we take the next no.of 46 that is 47,47^2=2209.We will subtract 2200 from 2209 (2209-2200=9)the number obtained is 9 we will add 9 to 2200( the number obtained after subtraction is to be added)to make it a perfect square 2200+9=2209 is the perfect square of 47(√2209=47)
