AD = 8 cm (Given)

DC = 6 cm (Given)

Since ΔADC forms a right angle triangle, we can use the Pythagoras' Theorem to find the diagonal.

The Pythagoras' Theorem states that the square of the length of the diagonal is the sum of the square of the 2 other legs.

Formula : a² + b² = c²

Find Length AC:

AC² = AD² + DC²

AC² = 8² + 6²

AC² = 64 + 36

AC² = 100

AC = √100

AC = 10 cm

Answer: Diagonal AC is 10 cm

Ramlayaksingh3: Hey bro
Ramlayaksingh3: please look at my answer. I think yours is a bit wrong
ronak3796: CAN YOU ANSWER ONE MORE QUESTION
TooFree: The question asked for AC (not the diagonal of the cuboid, AG)
AC sits on the the rectangle ABCD.
Ramlayaksingh3: but the length of diagonal is found using the formula
TooFree: That is ... if you are looking for AG
ronak3796: yes
Ramlayaksingh3: oh I see.sorry
Ramlayaksingh3: done .
