AY = AB + BY
=> AY = 69 + 18
=> AY = 87
AD = 23
Area of rectangle AYXD = 87 × 23
Area of rectangle ABFE = EF × AE
AE = AD + DE
=> AE = (23 + DE)
=> EF = 69
Area of rectangle ABFE = 69 × (23 + DE)
87 × 23 = 69 × (23 + DE)
=> 87 = 3 (23 + DE)
=> 87 = 69 + 3 DE
=> 18 = 3 DE
=> DE = 6
