"Option: (c),Inner Ear

The inner ear is a fluid filled chamber that consists of a complex system of canals and cavities. It is basically composed of two structures namely:

 Cochlea

 Vestibular apparatus

Cochlea is a highly coiled tube of 35mm long and is involved in hearing function of the ear. On the other hand the vestibular apparatus comprising canals, saccule is associated with the balance. Hence the structure responsible for maintaining balance is located in the inner ear.
