Along with farming some of the villagers also do the work of labour,Gur making etc.

Farming is the main occupation/activity in the village palampur.Nearly 75% of the total village's population depends on agricultural activities for their survival,but there was inadequate supply of electricity in the village which creates a problem to the farmers.They can't run tubewells for irrigation.
