Power supply remains erratic, thereby, affecting its production.
. Machinery needs to be upgraded in the weaving and processing sectors particularly.
. There is lower output of labour, since they are not skilled in their jobs.
. There is a stiff competition with the synthetic fibre industry.

Following problems that being faced by Indian Cotton Industry :

  • Indian Cotton Industry are using outdated or traditional technology.
  • Most of the mills are old and sabby in structure, they can not bear all the expenditure that require for cotton Industries.
  • Indian Cotton Industry do not produce good quality of cotton that's why they have to import cotton from other countries.

Ways to solve these problems:-

  1. Replace the old technology by newane.
  2. Bring efficiency and new ideas for the more production of cotton.
  3. We should grow quality of cotton than, we will not have to import cotton from other countries.
