the electronic structure would be :

(Ar) 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 3d10

Argon has the atomic number 18

therefore 18 + 28= 46.

And the dorbital in this situation would be10 which is the maximum value of electron it would havebut when you have forexample1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s1

using 4s1 is much more easier and less difficult then using 3d10
