Seasonal unemployment is a type of unemployment in which the employment offered to an individual is seasonal. One cannot get a job round the year .
Educated unemployment is one of the peculiar problems in India as today more and more youth choose the same stream and most of them have a common goal.For instance, in India, a majority of the Indian youth choose to become an engineer due to which there is less work for an engineer nowadays.Thats why even though an individual is educated it is difficult even for him to get a job.

Seasonal unemployment occurs when people are unemployed at certain times of the year , because they work in industries where they are not needed all year round . Examples : of industries where demand , production and employment are seasonal include tourism and leisure, farming , construction and retailing .
Educated unemployment is a peculiar problem of India due to the following reasons :-
1) There is unemployment in the technically qualified population while there is a scarcity of Technical skills required for economic growth of a country .
2) According to study unemployment among graduates and post graduate has increased faster than the matriculates .
3) In a paradoxical manpower situation there is surplus manpower in certain categories while there is shortage of manpower in others .
4) Not being able to find job for long periods creates a feeling of depression among the youth .
