The new name of IUCN is World Conservation Union (WCU).

As a part of the new communication strategy for the World Conservation Congress, IUCN has changed its logo and its name. The Union is now only known as International Union for the Conservation of Nature or Union Internationale pour la Conservation de la Nature in French.
