Leismania - It is a parasite which causes kala-azar, a kind of disease. We can see that they reproduce by binary Fission but the plane of fission is Longitudinal.

Paramaecium - It is a slipper shaped protozoan bearing several Cillia for locomotion and catching prey. It reproduces by Binary fission and the plane of fission is Latitudinal or horizontal.

Explanation:

Paramecium: A fully grown paramecium divides into two parts to form smaller paramecia. Leishmania(Parasite): It causes disease called kala-azar.In leishmania, splitting of parent cell during fission take place in a definite plane(longitudinally) with respect to flagellum at its ends.
