magnetic compass work beacuse of pole attraction which is situated in differet direction to recognise way and its work on electric magnet and current i hope u like

Magnetic compass works on the principle of magnetic effect of electric current.


a compass is a device used to store magnetic field direction at a point. it is also known as plotting compass. it consists of a tiny pirated magnet usually in the form of pointed which can done freely in horizontal plane. it is enclosed in a non magnetic metal case having a glass top.
