SOLUTION :

Given : Numbers are from 1 to 15.

Total numbers =  15

Total number of outcomes = 15

Let E = Event  of selecting a multiple of 4

Numbers that are multiple of 4 are 4, 8, 12,

Number of outcome favourable to E = 3

Probability (E) = Number of favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes

P(E) = 3/15 = ⅕

Hence, probability of selecting a multiple of 4 , P(E) = ⅕ .

total outcomes =15
favourable outcomes = 3(4,8,12)
probability = favourable outcomes ÷ total outcomes
=3/15=1/5= 0.2
