transpiration is the process by which plants lose water in the form of water vapour from their leaves

adanafridi: Yes but how does it occur inside the leaf?
shreya1000: the lose of water takes plce through leaves because leaves have stomtas which allow the exchange as they are small openings present on the leaves
shreya1000: besides these it also takes place through stems and other aerial parts

Transpiration is the process by which moisture is carried through plantsfrom roots to small pores on the underside of leaves, where it changes to vapor and is released to the atmosphere. Transpiration is essentially evaporation of water fromplant leaves.
