HiAntony was allowed to speak only after Brutus' permission. Antony first claimed that he is not here to praise Caesar but further he tries to contradict what all did Brutus' spoke. He did wanted to do just with those Ceasar's wounds. Yes, he do succeeded in his mission. He was able to sway the mob. He was able to manipulate the mob, the same mob which earlier claimed Caesar's death was must. He claims on Brutus' speech by creating a sarcasm in people mind. He claims Brutus as 'honourable men'. Thus he succeeds in his mission.
