Solution:-
Radius of the quadrant of circle = 28 cm
CSA of the cone = Area of quadrant of circle
Area of the quadrant of circle = 1/4*πr²
= 1/4*22/7*28*28
=  616 sq cm = CSA of the cone also.
Curved surface area of the cone = πrl, where 'r' is the radius and 'l' is slant height of the cone.
Radius of the quadrant of the circle = slant height of the cone
CSA = 22/7*r*28
616 = 22/7*r*28
r = (616*7)/(22*28)
r = 4312/616
r = 7 cm
So, the radius of the cone is 7 cm.
