Hello..

NH3 = atomic mass of N=14

molecular mass of H = (1*3)=3

ratio of mass of NH3=     N:H3

                               = 14:3

one Nitrogen atom combines with three Hydrogen atoms and molecular weight of the compound formed is 17.
Formula of the compound formed in the given ratio and calulated molecular weight is NH₃ (ammonia).
Following equation shows the formation of ammonia molecule from Nitrogen and Hydrogen.
N₂ + 3H₂→2NH₃
