when the richter scale of the earthquakes is intensive ,it causes the force on the buildings, and make them to collapse each other..

The reason behind the collapsation of a building during earthquake is as given :-

● Since the occurance of an earthquake is just a shaky movement of the tectonic plates which collapse together , the earth's crust starts shaking .
● During this shaky movement as the crust starts shaking , the ground too shakes and as we know that every kind of building , school , office , homes are all built on the ground so when the plates move and collapse the crust which in turn shakes the ground and all buildings , the buildings collapse .
