The reason that there is a lare number of organic compounds in the nature are.....
1. Catenation -- This is the propertt of carbon to form a long chain either branched or circular which allow it to form a large number of compounds.
2. Tetravalency -- This means that carbon has only 4 electons in its outer most shell which allow it to either lose or gain electron to form compounds easily.
3. Tendency to form multiple bond -- Carbon has the capacity to form single , double and triple bond with compunds.
4. Isomerism -- Carbon has a great number of isomers which allow it to form millions of compounds.
