The answer is not scientifically proven yet, but some sources say that due to the drastic change in the temperatures of the earth, the dinosaurs, unable to bear that, died one by one. Others say that a comet or meteor had hit the earth and thus the dinosaurs became extinct.

Dinosaurs

1.  It is possible that Dinosaurs could not adapt themselves to the atmospheric changes on Earth.  The temperature, pressure , wind etc.

2.  It is possible that they could not find sufficient food that they could eat to survive.  Probably the food was not available or got exhausted.

3.  They could not evolve or adapt easily.

4. They might have fought among themselves and killed a lot of their population.  The few remaining could not survive.

5. Perhaps some meteorites hit them from space and they got killed.

6. Natural calamities like Earthquakes, explosions of volcanoes, floods, cyclones etc. could have killed them or made them weaker over years.
