Relation between Resistivity and Resistance is: R=ρlA, where ρ is the resistivity, l is the length of the conductor and A is the cross sectional area.
The higher the resistivity value of ρ the more resistance and vice versa. For example, the resistivity of a good conductor such as copper is on the order of 1.72 x 10-8 ohm metre (or 17.2 nΩm), whereas the resistivity of a poor conductor (insulator) such as air can be well over 1.5 x 1014 or 150 trillion Ωm.
