With the increase in temperature speed of particles also increases.
More the temperature more will be the speed of particles.

Temperature is directly proportional to movement of a particle.
If we will increase the temperature of a body it's kinetic energy will increase which will cause more random movement of particles.
Such as when we heat water it starts boiling and then formation of water vapour due to the random movement of H2O molecules.
