" Reproduction "
The production of new individuals from the parents of the same species is called reproduction.
Types of reproduction :
1. Sexual reproduction
2. A-sexual reproduction
* Sexual reproduction in human (females)
" Human reproduction "
In human fertilisation occurs in the body of the female partner. The process of reproduction starts with mating during which the male the male sex cells into the body of the female.
When sperms cone in contact with an ovum one of the sperms May fuse with the egg. Such a fusion of the sperm with the eggs us called fertilization.
During fertilization, the nucleus of the sperm and the egg fuse to form a single nucleus. The fertilized egg is called zygote.
After the formation of zygote, it divides repeatedly to give rise to a ball of cells. The cell then begin to form groups.
These groups then develop into differvt tissues and organs of the body.
This developing structure is termed as embryo. The embryo then gets embedded in the wall kg the uterus.
The embryo continues to develop in the uterus. It gradually develops body parts.
The stage of the embryo when all the body part can be identified is called foetus. When the foetus get fully developed. the mother gives birth to the baby.

Human reproduction is any form of sexual reproduction resulting in human fertilization, typically involving sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. During sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of the woman's ovum by the man's sperm. These are specialized reproductive cells called gametes, created in a process called meiosis. While normal cells contains 46 chromosomes, 23 pairs, gamete cells only contain 23 chromosomes, and it is when these two cells merge into one zygote cell that genetic recombination occurs and the new zygote contains 23 chromosomes from each parent, giving them 23 pairs. After a gestation period, typically for nine months, is followed by childbirth. The fertilization of the ovum may be achieved by artificial insemination methods,
