haritha Haaram, is the brain child of Telangana State Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao. He has launched it on July 5 2015 with an aim to increase the tree cover in the Telangana State.

I felt very happy when I heard about this mission because now-a-days many people are cutting down trees for building apartments, malls etc. He has not just launched the programme but also has asked every person to plant one sapling
