Prime minister play an important role taking decisions of country.
He has the following powers :-
1) He chairs the cabinet meeting .


2) He coordinate the work of different departments.

3) His decisions are final in case of any disagreements arise between departments.

4) He excesise general supervision over ministries.

5) All ministers work under his leadership.
6) He distributes and redistributes work to ministers.

7) He has the powers to dismiss ministers.

8) When the prime minister quits , the entire ministry quits.
