IT IS THE OZONE LAYER WHICH PREVETS THE HARMFUL ULTROVIOLET RADIATION [UV] RAYS TO ENTER IN THE EARTH...

SO THAT IT PREVENTS MANY DISEASES LIKE SKIN CANCER ETC..

BUT DUE TO GLOBAL WARMIN THIS OZONE LAYER IS DECLINING AND THERE IS A HOLE ABOVE ANTARTICA..
