The speedometer or speed meter is a guage which measures or displays the speed of an vehicle.
The speedometer has specific name for each vehicle like for boat - pit log , for aircraft - airspeed indicator .

The odometer helps to measure the distance travelled by an vehicle , such as cars , automobiles.
