The similarity is that both are used for agriculture and the difference is that modern farming needs less human labour and traditional farming wants more human labour

the the similarity is that the the modern and the the earliest farming was done to grow crops but the differentiate between them are the earlier farming done in ascientific manner such that the earlier people not able to grow more and more crops in small piece of land but in modern time people can grow more and more crops in small piece of land by the help of scientific agriculture
