What is the simple logic for find the sum of numbers up to 100

if u add all numbers u will get

99+1=100

98+2=100

...

it will continue till 51+49

thus 50 pairs which add up to add up to 100

50×100=5000

+the remaining number that is 50

=5000+50

=5050
