We use the simple present tense when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly
FOR EXAMPLE =
She eats chocolates every day.
He eats biscuits at snacks.
Ramu visits his parents on weekends.
I wake up at 6.30 am.
They go to work by car. I go for a swim every morning.

The Present Indefinite or Simple Present Tense is used to describe facts , habits, truths, anything th hat happens at scheduled time and the activities related to present time.

Example-
1. He goes to school.
2. She gets up daily at 4 am in the morning
3. The earth revolves round the sun.
4. The child is in school at this time.
5. He teaches English.

Sometimes simple present tense is also used to tell about future activities.
