Given :  y  =  - (1/2)x   + 1.4

To find : Slope of the equation

Solution:

y  =  - (1/2)x   + 1.4

Equation of a line  is

y = mx  + c

where  m represent the slope of the equation

Comparing

y = mx + c

with y =  - (1/2)x   + 1.4  

=> m =  -1/2

Slope of the Equation =   -1/2
