Carbon has atomic number 6. As number of protons is the atomic number so A is 6.
In the question it's given that Carbon and X are isobars that means their mass number should be same.
So, mass of carbon is 14. X's mass should also be 14
Mass of X = Number of protons + neutrons
14 = B + 7
B = 7
Number of protons is 7, so atomic number of X is 7, and the element with atomic number 7 is nitrogen.
In the question it is given that Y and Z are isotopes i.e number of protons present in Y and Z are present.
Number of protons in Y = 8
So number of protons of Z will also be 8. Since number of protons is the atomic number of the element so the Z is oxygen (atomic number -8)
So the answer is 3) 6,7,nitrogen,oxygen.
