The bloodless revolution: Radical Vegetarianism and the Discovery of India by Tristram Stuart, which was published in the United States as The Bloodless Revolution: A Cultural History of Vegetarianism From 1600 to Modern Times. As is evident from the title of the book, it narrates the history of vegetarianism in India.
Glorious Revolution, also called the Revolution of 1688, was the overthrow of King James II of England ( James VI of Scotland) by a union of English Parliamentarians with the Dutch Stadtholder, William III, Prince of Orange. William's successful entry with the Dutch fleet and army led to his accession to the throne as William III of England with his wife, Mary II, the daughter of James.
King James's policies of religious tolerance, closeness to France and his Catholicism led to the revolution and his ouster. With his removal, Protestantism became the state religion. The bloodline changed in the British monarchy and ended Catholicism from becoming re-established in England.
