New cells are formed to carry on generations and transfer the genetic material to the subsequent generations. The cells, probably, want their lineage to go on and that's why they give rise to new cells from pre-existing cells.

- The use of formation of new cells in the body from the pre existing cells is the natural biological phenomenon because body needs new cells to function properly and the older cells die as every cell has its lifespan
- Cells divide and form new cells having the same genetic material as of their parents i.e preexisting cells
- Example: red blood cells has a lifespan of 120 days , they die after this time so the body will require a new red blood cell after 120 days so formation of new cell from pre existing cell is necessary
