what is the value of {1/(x+y)-1/(x-y)}

1/(x+y)-1/(x-y)

=[(x-y)-(x+y)]/x^2-y^2
=-2y/x^2-y^2

{1/(x+y)-1/(x-y)}= {(x-y)-(x+y)/(x+y)(x-y)}
=x-y-x-y/x^2-xy+xy-y^2
=-2y/x^2-y^2
