what is the water of crystallisation and how can we show that CuSO4 crystal contain water of crystallization ?

water of crystallisation is the fixed number of water molecules present in one formulae unit of a salt.

When crystals of CuSO4.5H2O are heated in a test tube, its color changes from blue to white and water droplets appear in the test tube.

this prove that CuSO4 contain water of crystillisation.
