The weight of the object on earth is 98 Kg and on moon it becomes 16.33 kg.

Explanation:

  • Let's say the mass of object On earth .

Mass of object = 10 kg

Weight = 9.8 x 10 = 98 kg

  • Let's calculate the weight of object On moon .

Mass = 10 kg

Weight = 1/6 x 98

           = 16.33 kg

Thus the weight of the object on earth is 98 Kg and on moon it becomes 16.33 kg. Which is very less as compared to the mass on earth. \
