First, we know that weight of an object on moon is 1/6 of its weight on earth and acceleration due to gravity on earth is 9.8m/s^2  Now, weight on earth = mass × acceleration due to gravity = 10 kg × 9.8 m/s^2 = 98 kg . m/s^2 or 98 N  So, weight of object on moon = 1/6 × 98 = 16.4 (approx.)
