Let the force applied to displace the block is F and displacement is d and let the friction be uN(u is friction coefficient and N is normal) so work done=force × displacement= (F - f) ×d

Hi Friend!!

Let the force applied to displace the block be= F
 The displacement is  = d
the friction be = f= uN(where u is the  coefficient of friction  and N is the normal force)
 Now, we know that :
work done
=force × displacement
 =(F - f) ×d
=(F- uN) x d

Hope that answer helped you friend!!
