Tissues are group of cells of same kind.

Animal tissues are grouped into 4 basic types:- Connective
Muscle
nervous
Andepithelial.

Collections of tissues joined in structural units to serve a common function compose organs.

Plants tissues are categorized broadly into 3 tissue systems :-the epidermis
the ground tissue and the vascular tissue.

plant tissues can also be divided differently into 2 groups.
1) meristematic tissue
2) permanent tissue.

A tissue is a group of cells that are structurally and functionally similar.

AmitKumar8057965612: it is very short.
SquareRoot256: You said brief - but add this: Groups of cells work together to achieve a common goal. For example, epidermal tissue cells work together to protect the body.

There are two types of tissue:
1) meristematic tissue
2) permanent tissue
