Tissue is collection of some specified cells which works together to carry out any particular activity .

Connective tissue: A material made up of fibers forming a framework and support structure for body tissues and organs. Connective tissue surrounds many organs. Cartilage and bone are specialized forms of connective tissue.

✔A group of cell having a common origin, similar function and similar structure is known as tissue.

✔The connective tissue is specialised to connect and Anchor various body.

✔As such it can connect bones to each other, muscles to bone, bind tissue and give support to various parts of body by packing around organs so that they do not get displaced by body movements.

✔There are 4 types of connective tissue:- Areolar connective tissue, Adipose tissue, skeletal tissue and fluid connective tissue.

✔The main functions of connective tissue are binding, supporting and packing together different organs of the body.
