✯what is tokotsubo?
◆when there is sudden or acute heart failure it is known as tokotsubo syndrome.
◆this is similar to heart attack.
◆it is also known as broken heart syndrome.
✯what is the cause of tokotsubo syndrome?
◆it is said to occur when people experience lot of physical and emotional stess.
✯what actually happens when one is affected by this syndrome?
◆firstly, ECG or what you call electrocardiogram and blood tests are done.
◆the report will tell us that there is a heart attack.
◆but when the doctors will examine heart arteries, they will see that there would be no blockage which one gets after heart attack.
◆they will suddenly get to know that heart muscles are not working properly and lower left chamber of heart would become larger than usual.
