Urbanisation is the increase in the proportion of people living in towns and cities, also the transformation of rural area to an urban area.
Some of the reasons which leads to urbanisation are :-
1)Job opportunities in industries
Better schooling , and housing facilities in cities
2)The availability of more reliable sources of food in cities.
3)The availability of infrastructure ( roads, rail, and air transport and electricity, water, and natural gas) in rural areas.
4)The abundance of natural resources and expertise required to exploit these resources.
5)Loans given by the government to people make them more self sufficient even in rural areas.
6)Availability of basic necessities of life in urban areas.
7)Higher birth rates eventually leads to urbanisation.
