What is used to extinguish fire from electrical appliance?

We use Sand or CO2
Don't use water because it is a good conductor of electricity.

Pure water is not a conductor of electricity. But when it get mixed or dissolved with other materials, it becomes a good conductor of electricity and become dangerous as it can cause electrocution to human. So CO2 fire extinguishers or sands are used to extinguish electrical fire.
