The small intestine has millions of tiny finger-like projections called villi. These villi increase the surface area for more efficient food absorption. Within these villi, are present numerous blood vessels which absorb the digested food and carry it to the blood stream. It is hence from the blood stream, the absorbed food is delivered to each and every cell of the body. HOPE IT HELPS PLZ GIVE BRAINLIEST

villi are the thumb like projections/figures present in the small intestine. Villi absorb all the minerals from digested food and passes it to various nerves present inside them. Villi increase the surface area of the small intestine and hence make absorption of nutrients more faster. Villi are located on the surface of the inner walls of small intestine.
