The image formed without the actual meeting of corresponding reflected but the corresponding rays only appear to meet is called virtual image.

They cannot be obtained on screen and are always erect.

For example:Image formed by an incident ray passing through the infinity

Answer:

A picture that you see in mirror of yourself is a virtual image.

It is not presented on a screen.

The image which is formed when the rays of light don't meet actually at certain point but it seem to be meet somewhere, the essence of sayings is that the object is not there actually where it seems to be like the above example.

And the image you see of your friend who is just standing in front of you is a real image .

The real image is always inverted.

In a projector, a convex lens is used which shows a real and inverted image but it is than converted to an upside down image to show us. And it is presented on a screen that's why it's a real image.

:) Thank you !
