Conservation of water means water is not wasted unnecessarily. It means to save water from getting wasted. Water conservation is very important because water is the basic need of all forms of life. Water is required for all life processes and fresh water is very limited so we should conserve it.

water conservation is important fro the following reasons:
1. water is required for our survival .
2. Ninety seven percent on earth is salt water which is not fit for drinking.only three percent of water is fresh water. and only one percent is available for drinking water the other two percent is available as ice and glaciers.
3. we use water making electricity , cleaning, cooking , irrigation, etc.
4. we must preserve water so that it will be available to people for years to come.
5. Its important to save water to sustain life on earth as we known that World Population is increasing at alarming Rate.
