Answer:

The water present in water bodies evaporates due to the heat of the sun. Plant also help by the process of transpiration. As the water vapors rise higher and higher, the temperature decreases. On cooling of water vapors, they condense to form clouds. When the clouds can't hold any more water, it falls down in the form of precipitation as rain or snow. Then the precipitated water seeps through the ground or falls back in the oceans, rivers and ponds. Then this process is repeated again and again. This continuous movement of water is known as water cycle.
